Chronicles of the Leaves
The First Sentinels
Before men learned to shape stone, the elves had already built their cities among the intertwined branches of the giant oaks. They are fiercely protective of nature, believing that the forest is a living, breathing entity which granted them their long lives in return for their guardianship.
The Art of Archery
An elven bow is carved from a single piece of heartwood and strung with materials known only to their craftsmen. To say an elf is a master archer is an understatement. They can hit a falling leaf from three hundred paces while leaping through the air.
Their arrows are said to be guided by the wind itself. They do not hunt for sport, only for survival and defense of the realm. A single arrow found embedded in your path is considered the final warning before the forest claims you.
